Home of northern Melbourne’s reactive dog adventure community.
Helping reactive dogs—and the people who love them—build a bigger, more enjoyable life together.
Why Dynamo Dogs?
Most people come to me because their dog is barking, lunging or generally making walks miserable.
That's understandable.
But I've learnt that those behaviours are usually only part of the story.
Many of the dogs I work with are intelligent, capable working dogs who have nowhere appropriate to put all that drive. They spend their days under-stimulated in some ways, overwhelmed in others, and eventually start creating their own excitement. For some dogs, that becomes barking at every dog they see.
That's why I don't jump straight into ‘fixing’ the reactivity.
First, we build better communication. We give your dog more appropriate outlets for who they are. We teach them how to work, how to rest, and how to make good decisions.
Only then do we start worrying about loose leash walking and all the practical stuff.
Because when you change the life your dog is living, their behaviour often changes with it.
“Working with Carolina was a total game changer. Raleigh’s gone from scared and cautious to confident and curious. We went from feeling anxious every day, to telling each other how lucky we are to have her.
Join the Dynamo Dogs fam, you and your dog will love it!”

“We recently completed the Dogs with Big Feelings program with Carolina for my reactive German Shepherd, Diesel — and I could not be happier with the results.
Carolina taught me how to support Diesel rather than just focus on the reactivity, and she explained every step so clearly. It gave us calm, clear communication and helped Diesel and I build confidence in a really positive way.
If you have a dog that struggles and you want real, supportive progress, I can’t recommend Carolina and Dynamo Dogs enough.”

“Doing the program with Carolina has been life changing! We understand our dog so much better now: a much happier her and a much happier us.
Thank you so much, Carolina! Would recommend x a million.”

Where would you like to start?
Dogs don't become easier to live with because we tell them ‘no’ more often.
They become easier to live with when they understand us, have somewhere to put their natural instincts, and learn how to balance work, play and rest.
That's exactly what we build together.
Whether we're working one-on-one or out on the trail.
Learn
I want to learn and try some things myself.
Practical resources you can work through in your own time, covering everything from leash walking and play to enrichment and getting out into the real world with your dog.
Some are free, some cost a few bucks, and you can take what you need without signing yourself up for anything bigger.
Get help
I need some proper help with my dog.
If reactivity, over-arousal or big feelings are making everyday life harder than it needs to be, you don't have to keep piecing everything together yourself.
Tell me what's happening and what you'd love life with your dog to look like, and I'll help you work out the most sensible place to start.
Belong
I want to get out and do cool stuff with my dog.
Adventure Club is a supportive community where dogs and humans practise real-life skills, explore new places, build confidence and discover what they're capable of together.
Reactive, sensitive and slightly spicy dogs are very much part of the crew.
Who this is for (and who it’s not)
🔥We’re a good match if you…
have a dog that gets easily over-excited, reactive, or frustrated.
want support and guidance, not judgment or shame.
value adventures with a supportive & like-minded crew.
believe dogs need choice and freedom, but also boundaries
❄️This probably isn’t a good fit if you…
want someone else to do all the work.
are chasing perfect obedience.
think immediate off-lead play is suitable socialising.
don’t have time to practise outside our sessions.
Hi, I’m Carolina
— the human behind Dynamo Dogs
Living with my own reactive kelpie taught me that barking was never really the problem.
The real problem was the smaller life we both ended up living because of it.
That's why I don't just teach dogs not to react. I help people build better communication, meet their dog's needs, and create a life that's calmer, more capable and a whole lot more enjoyable for both ends of the lead.
Want to hang around?
Not quite ready to jump into training or Adventure Club? No worries. You can just hang out with me for a while.
Every few weeks, I’ll send you training thoughts, useful ideas, stories from the dogs and people I work with, upcoming Dynamo Dogs stuff and probably more photos of dogs doing ridiculous things in the bush than anyone reasonably needs.
No daily emails. No endless sales pitches. Just useful stuff and a glimpse into what life with a Dynamo Dog can actually look like.

Not sure where to start?
You don’t need to figure that out before getting in touch
1. Tell me about your dog
Fill out the short form and tell me what's happening, what you've tried and what you'd love life together to look like.
2. Let’s have a chat
If it looks like I can help, you'll be able to book a Let's Talk About Your Dog call so I can learn a little more about you both.
3. We’ll find your starting point
That might be Dogs with Big Feelings, trying an Adventure Club session, or something else entirely. The point is finding what actually makes sense for you and your dog.
